Thiagesh A/L Kanagalingam

Thiagesh A/L Kanagalingam is a distinguished leader with over 28 years of experience in Malaysia’s Semiconductor and Electrical & Electronics (E&E) industries. He currently serves as Senior Director and Head of the Semiconductor Technology Center at MIMOS Berhad, leading R&D in IC design, wafer fabrication, and advanced semiconductor commercialization.

With a strong background in process engineering and leadership across top fabrication facilities, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic business insight. He also serves as Chairman of the Malaysian IC Design Association (MICDA) and Secretary of SFAM, actively contributing to industry development and regional innovation.

Thiagesh is recognized for driving global partnerships, expanding revenue opportunities, and strengthening innovation ecosystems through his leadership and vision.
