Dr. Choong Khong Neng

Dr. Choong Khong Neng has served as Department Head since 2021, ensuring strong technical leadership and operational continuity. Under his leadership, several research innovations have been successfully commercialized, including the transformation of Mi-Show into Recomedia, alongside securing key partnerships and high-value contracts such as ASEAN IVO R&D initiatives and the Biz4WRD project.

He has played a vital role in expanding industry adoption through collaborations and technology transfers, including the Indoor Tracking System (ITS). His work with industry partners has also addressed critical technical challenges, reinforcing MIMOS’s industry relevance.

With multiple patents, publications, and national innovation awards, Dr. Choong demonstrates strong leadership and impact, positioning him as a strong candidate for the role of Chief Technology Officer.
